ABOUT THE LIST
The following is a working reference list of schools or organizations which are developing an innovative model of higher education that shows promise for increasing transformative engaged learning.
This does not mean that the organization needs to be a formal school, or that they term what they are doing "engaged learning," but simply that they are developing a model that supports engaged learning in a way that might help inform the larger "reimagine higher ed" project. (What is engaged learning? See the Manifesto page for a working definition)
I am particularly interested in models that have found ways to reduce costs and increase access while at the same time becoming more educative, more market relevant, more socially responsible, and more spiritually formative.
